Passion Project: Nike
When I first started running, I had no idea what I was doing. I kept pushing myself to run faster for longer, thinking that was the only way to improve. Then I discovered Nike’s NRC app—and it completely changed the game for me. It wasn’t just the structured running programs that helped me grow; it was the sense of community. Even though I was running alone, I felt part of something bigger just by following the coaches and hearing their voices guide me through each session.

With this illustration, I wanted to capture that exact feeling—the quiet power of running as part of a community. Not one driven solely by stats or finish lines, but one that values the journey: the shared rhythm, the self-discovery, the breath between strides.
I created this piece in Procreate on my iPad Pro, experimenting with textured brushes and blending techniques to bring a sense of motion, energy, and warmth to the scene. Each runner moves to their own beat, but together they form a collective force—driven, calm, and connected.

This was a passion project I envisioned for Nike, perhaps as a feature for the Nike Run Club app or a blog post. It’s a tribute to the everyday runners who lace up and show up—not for the records, but for clarity, confidence, and those small, transformative moments when mind and body finally move as one.
